One of Joya's many talents is her writing. Joya is an accomplished fanfiction writer and plans to one day have her own work published. She hopes to accomplish that before she turns 25. Her work began in the Harry Potter fandom but has expanded into the Supernatural fandom as well.

Joya's greatest strength in her writing is the way she can make words flow. One of her most beautiful pieces is a Wincest drabble entitled East Of Eden; entrancing readers with the single line "Tell me how this love will ruin us."

Her first mutli-chaptered story was a Supernatural story called Of Wolf And Man. Dealing with Sam, his psychic abilities and the Yellow-Eyed Demon it draws you in with an excellent plotline and brilliant use of minor characters and original characters. It's one of the most intelligent pieces of fanfiction I've ever read.
