Kate: Joya is... AMAZING. She is one of the smartest, sweetest, and funniest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She has demonstrated maturity in situations where I would be pulling my hair and screaming. I admire this quality in her greatly. Therese: The first time I met Joya, she was liek the popular one of my fanlisting that I didn't really want to read about. Then when I found out more about her she was so wicked awesome and so cool. Not only was she very opinionated, I really enjoyed reading about her because she was so funny. I know even though you don't have enough time to read all of your flist's LJ you always take time to make us feel special. You rock more than rocks! Bess: Joya is TEH COOLIES! ...Who will rock forever because she wrote me Wincest pr0n XD LOL, srsly, she's awesome (duh) ^^ We became friends through a mutual former friend (who unfortunately had a rather large falling out with her, because he was being ignorant about links between Islam and terrorists, and it got pretty messy, so we don't talk with him anymore, but that's besides the point -.-), and basically bonded IMMEDIATELY over a love of SPN. I had heard OF her before in HP fandom (hello, she's editor of the freakin' QUIBBLER), and I'd always SORT OF wanted to get to know her, but was a bit hesitant, because...well, she's a BNF! (Yes Joya, stop it, you so are. HELLO, you have your own FANLISTING for fuck's sake XD) But as soon we started talking, it was like..."Dude! A BNF who's actually as nice as everyone says she is! o.O" Since then, we've become quite close, and have mucho fun-o squeeing together over Jared, Jensen, Winchester hotness, Wincest, and other such Supernatural-y things ^^;; I am truly honored to be your beta.
